29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a- 341 - 349 Route 70, Marlton NJ: A worker was exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 11 feet 7 inches to the ground surface below, when walking and working from a commercial structure's pitched canopy without the use of fall protection. Condition observed on or about 08/20/24. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employee(s) working from an aerial lift: a- 341 - 349 Route 70, Marlton NJ: A worker was exposed to fall hazards when working from an elevated articulated boom lift man lift basket while wearing a full body harness whose attached lanyard was not connected to an anchor. Condition observed on or about 08/20/24. RDL Construction, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1544071, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 04/04/22, with respect to a workplace located at Venue Blvd - Gate House - Venue at Monroe, Monroe Twp. NJ.
