Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees from crushing or struck by hazards when utilizing a crane hook with a broken safety latches: a) On or about July 28, 2021, in the production area, employees were exposed to struck by hazards, in that, overhead cranes hook, that were designed to have safety latches, had a broken safety latch.
