Employees were exposed to soil collapse hazards while removing stones out of an excavation with approximately 11.5 feet deep that was improperly benched.   Condition was observed on or about August 27, 2021.

Employees were exposed to fall hazards while using a portable A-frame ladder to access and egress the excavation in a folded position and not opened according to the manufacturer's specifications.   Condition was observed on or about August 27, 2021.

Employees were removing stones in an excavation approximately 11.5 feet deep.   Condition noted on or about August 27, 2021.  Real Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.651(h)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1348513, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on March 30, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at with respect to a workplace located at 2010 Walnut Street, Philadelphia PA 19102.
