29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a.) ILSCO Extrusions, LLC., Fabrication department area, on or about September 22nd, 2021 and times prior thereto: Employees were exposed to caught-in or between hazards while performing work operations around the North B & O saw (Model #B825; serial # B97-00124). A barrier guard or similar was not installed to prevent employees from accessing the area where the back-gage portion of the saw was in operation.
