29 CFR 1926.701(b):All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: a) On or about 10/8/2021, at the concrete side walk area of the site, Corfu, NY. Five-eighth inch round reinforcing steels, that were used as form supports, were not guarded for impalement hazard. Employees were working from the ground on concrete placement of the side walk and curb, and the working area had minimal tripping hazard. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
