29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2):The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person: JOB SITE: Mid Rivers Apartments (New Construction), St. Peters Parkway, Saint Peters, MO 63376, on or about 10/26/2021, Amigo Roofing & Contracting, LLC, the general contractors and controlling employer did not conduct an adequate inspection of the job site, materials, and equipment. Employees were exposed to the following hazards: a) A Roofing subcontractor was actively installing new roof shingles on a 2-story Apartment complex (New Construction) without any form of fall protection and were operating pneumatic nail guns without eye or face protection. b) A Siding subcontractor was cutting siding to size on a table saw without machine guard. The same subcontractor and helper were operating the table saw without eye or face protection. c) The General Contractor provided the siding subcontractor the use of an orange electrical extension cord to power the table saw, with the strain relief detached from the male plug.
