29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b). On or about October 22, 2021, employees were measuring and installing flashing on an apartment complex balcony under construction without the use of fall protection, exposing the employees to the hazard of falling up to approximately 28 feet to the ground below.

On or about October 22, 2021, an employee was using a Self Retracting Lanyard (SRL) and harness that had not been inspected prior to use, exposing the employee to a fall hazard of up to approximately 28 feet to the ground.
