29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vi): Each employee performing overhand bricklaying operations from a supported scaffold was not protected from falling from all open sides and ends of the scaffold (except at the side next to the wall being laid) by the use of a personal fall arrest system or guardrail system (with minimum 200 pound toprail capacity). a.) 3437 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ Employees were exposed to fall hazards approximately 40 feet to the ground below while performing bricklaying activities on a supported frame scaffold platform that lacked a fall protection system on its open sides and ends, on or about 12/07/2021. Genesis Masonry, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1362658, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 01/30/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 331 Pine St., Jersey City, NJ 07304.
