29 CFR  1903.19(c)(1): The employer did not certify to OSHA, within 10 calendar days after the abatement date, that the cited violations had been abated:   a. 110 Carlton Avenue, Jersey City, NJ  The employer did not provide abatement certification for inspection number 1611986 citation No. 1 Item No. 1a, 1b and 1c  pertaining to 29 CFR  1910.1200(e)(1), 1910.1200(g)(1) and 1910.1200(h)(1)  which were due on 02-21-2023.  The employer was issued the citation and notification of penalty on 01-31-2023.  Violation occurred on or about  April 30, 2024.

29 CFR  1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement:  a. 110 Carlton Avenue, Jersey City, NJ  Employees engaged in masonry activities were exposed to impalement hazards from unguarded reinforcing steel (rebar) protruding from the footings and block walls of the jobsite.  Violation occurred on or about 08/02/ 2022.  Genesis Masonry, LLC. was previously cited for violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR  1926.701(b), which was  contained in OSHA inspection number 1562537,  citation 1,  item 3  and was  affirmed as final order on 05/04/2022, with respect to workplace located  at 110 Carlton Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07304
