29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) On or about January 12, 2022, employees conducting roofing work on an 6:12 pitch roof on the North side and center of the structure, were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 21 feet four (4) inches. Barry's Construction, LLC company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1516073, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 31, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 25901 76th Place, Salem, WI 53168. Barry's Construction, LLC company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1501177, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on December 21, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 2171 Langford Ln, Wheaton, IL 60187.
