29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) Colorado Architectural Millwork Supply, Inc.: On or before 2/8/22 the employer did not protect employees from injury in that the Diehl veneer splicer [model: VS82 WA, serial: 2000M 6617 6033] lacked a guard along the side of the chain conveyor. This condition exposed employees to ingoing nip points, laceration, and amputation hazards. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is not required for this item.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(ii):The required working space about electric equipment rated 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground, was used for storage: (a) Colorado Architectural Millwork Supply, Inc.: On or before 2/8/22 the employer did not ensure that all electrical equipment had at least 30 inches of clearance. Spaces in front of electrical panels was used for storage. This condition exposed employees to electrical shock and fire hazards. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is not required for this item.
