29 CFR 1910.178(n)(1): All traffic regulations shall be observed, including authorized plant speed limits. A safe distance shall be maintained approximately three truck lengths from the truck ahead, and the truck shall be kept under control at all times. Line 4, back: On or about February 8, 2022, due regard for safety was not observed when the Plant Manager struck a recently parked forklift with the forklift he was operating. As a result, an employee in front of the parked forklift was pinned between two pallets of material.
