29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Circular handfed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut: (a) Little Colorado, LLC at 4450 Lipan Street in Denver, Colorado: On or about February 22, 2022, and at times prior, employees performed rip cuts on a table saw in the CNC shop that was not furnished with a hood to protect employees from flying splinters, broken saw teeth, and the portion of the saw above the material being cut. This exposed employees to amputation, laceration, and eye injury hazards.

This exposed employees to an impalement hazard. (b) Little Colorado, LLC at 4450 Lipan Street in Denver, Colorado: On or about February 22, 2022, and at times prior, employees performed rip cuts on a Rockwell Model 12 Panel Saw in the CNC shop that was not furnished with a spreader to prevent material from being thrown back at the operator. This exposed employees to an impalement hazard.
