29 CFR  1926.451(b)(1): Each platform on all working levels of scaffolds was not fully planked or decked between the front uprights and the guardrail supports as specified in paragraphs 1926.451(b)(1)(i)-(ii)   a- Camelot Development, Building 3, Toms River NJ - A worker was exposed to fall hazards, up to and in excess of  18 feet 2 inches to the ground surface below, when performing framing and other related activities from a job built supported scaffold whose walking and working surface was not fully planked between the front uprights and the guardrails supports.  Condition observed on or about 02/24/22.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

Silva Brothers Construction Carpentry, Inc. was previously cited for a Serious violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1388652, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 07/29/19, with respect to a workplace located at 2 Charles Drive, Egg Harbor Township NJ.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.
