29 CFR 1910.151(c):Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body shall be provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. Reference: ANSI Z358.1 Emergency Eyewash and Shower Standard a. On or about March 23, 2022, the employer failed to provide unobstructed access to suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body, exposing employees working on the Water Treatment System to contact with injurious corrosive liquids. b. On or about March 23, 2022, the employer failed to provide access to suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body, exposing employees working in the lab area to contact with injurious corrosive liquids.
