29 CFR 1910.272(m)(4): The employer did not implement procedures in the grain handling facility for the use of tags and locks which would prevent the inadvertent application of energy or motion to equipment being repaired, serviced, or adjusted, which could result in employee injury. Such locks and tags should be removed in accordance with established procedures only by the employee installing them or, if unavailable, by his or her supervisor: On or about March 31, 2022, at the Maintenance Dryer Area, employees performing preventative maintenance activities such as but not limited to installing a belt with idler pulleys "free wheeling" on Aeroglide Dryer#1 (Model C2 120-35; Serial# 02119-02) were not protected from release of hazardous energy.
