29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): The employer shall ensure that flexible cords are connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided which will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. West sidewalk: The outer insulation to the cord used to power the grinder was pulled from the plug exposing the inner wiring. Employees were exposed to electrical hazards.
