29 CFR 1910.253(b)(4)(i): Oxygen cylinders were stored near highly combustible material, especially oil and grease; or near reserve stocks of carbide and acetylene or other fuel-gas cylinders, or near other substance likely to cause or accelerate fire a.) Boyertown Foundry Company, 9th & Rothermel Drive, New Berlinville, PA 19545 - Compressed Gas/Welding Gas Storage Shed - On or about April 25, 2022, oxygen cylinders were stored within 1-feet of acetylene cylinders, and were not otherwise separated by a non-combustible barrier, thereby exposing employees to explosion and fire hazards. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.253(b)(4)(iii): Oxygen cylinders in storage were not separated from fuel-gas cylinders or combustible materials (especially oil or grease), a minimum distance of 20 feet (6.1 m) or by a noncombustible barrier at least 5 feet (1.5 m) high having a fire-resistance rating of at least one-half hour: a.) Boyertown Foundry Company, 9th & Rothermel Drive, New Berlinville, PA 19545 - Compressed Gas/Welding Gas Storage Shed - On or about April 25, 2022, oxygen cylinders were stored within 1-feet of acetylene cylinders, and were not otherwise separated by a non-combustible barrier, thereby exposing employees to explosion and fire hazards.
