29 CFR 1926.300(b)(1):Power operated tool(s), designed to accommodate guards, were not equipped with such guards when in use: On or about May 5, 2022 the employer Adena Corporation at roadway jobsite on or near 141 Claremont Ave. Ashland OH 44805, did not ensure a Hilti brand angle grinder (Model: AG 500-A22. S/N: 046422) was equipped with the appropriate factory installed guard while in use. Employees using the Hilti angle grinder in the unguarded condition to cut structural steel were exposed to potential struck-by, laceration and amputation injuries from the ungraded blade during cutting operations.
