29 CFR  1910.134(c)(2)(i) :Respirator users were not provided with the information contained in Appendix D to 29 CFR 1910.134 when the employer determined that any voluntary respirator use was permissible:  a) Sumitomo Riko Company Ltd., doing business as SumiRiko Ohio Inc., located at 320 Snider Road in Bluffton, Ohio;  On or about May 18, 2022, the employer did not ensure that employees were provided with information contained within Appendix D of 29 CFR 1910.134 Respiratory Protection Standard. Employees working in the mixing department were provided with tight fitting N95 filtering facepiece respirators to be worn voluntarily. Employees were exposed to hazards associated with various dry chemicals handled at manual weigh stations such as, but not limited to, silica, talc, and zinc oxides.
