29 CFR 1910.36(g)(2): An exit access must be at least 28 inches (71.1 cm) wide at all points. Where there is only one exit access leading to an exit or exit discharge, the width of the exit and exit discharge must be at least equal to the width of the exit access.  On or about June 8, 2022, in the following locations, access to exits was less than 28 inches wide:  A. CAD Room. B. Compressor Area.  Merrill Industries was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety, and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.36(g)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1302405, citation number 02, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/11/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 26 Village Street, Ellington, CT06029.
