29 CFR 1926.652(d)(1): Materials and equipment used for protective systems were not free from damage or defects that might impair their proper function: a) Bowers Landing development, North of Intersection of Sand Dollar Lane and Sunshine Boulevard, Frederica, DE 19946: On or about 07/19/2022, employees engaged in sewer installation activities in an excavation where the support system was used with damaged components and defects including but not limited to damaged spreaders which was not appropriate for use with the system according to manufacturer's data.
