29 CFR 1915.34(c)(3)(iv): The blaster was not protected against injury from exposure to the blast by appropriate protective clothing, including gloves. M/V SEAGULL: Railway 2: Upper vessel deck: On or about August 02, 2022, employees conducted water jet abrasive blasting using aluminum oxide blast grit to remove deck materials in preparation for refurbishment. The employees did not wear appropriate waterproof body covering and gloves to protect against the blasting actions on the vessel's deck. The employee was potentially exposed to dermal irritation.
