Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a). At the workplace, 10649 Bastille Dr, Orlando, FL 32836, On or about August 17, 2022, two employees were installing new roof shingles on a one-story commercial clubhouse for an apartment complex and were not protected by any means of personal fall protection, safety nets or guardrails exposing to a fall hazard in excess of 10 feet to the ground below.
