Condition observed on or about 09/01/22.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a- 65 & 67 Edgecomb Avenue, Lakewood NJ: Two workers and the company worksite Foreman were exposed to fall hazards, up to and in excess of 8 feet 5 inches to the floor below, when walking and working at the unprotected edges of a residential structure's second floor without the use of fall protection. Condition observed on or about 09/01/22. Encore Builders, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR.1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1619510, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 07/07/22, with respect to a workplace located at 6 FDR Drive, Berlin Township NJ NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
