29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about September 6, 2022, on the west side of the site, employees performed framing work on an elevated surface 6 feet or more above the lower level without fall protection. Crane Creek Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, which was contained in OSHA inspection number #1499135 citation number #1, item number#1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12-16-2020, with respect to a workplace located at 8453/8455 Picardy Ave., BATON ROUGE, LA 70809.
