29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids, or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation:   On or about March 28, 2023, an employee was permitted to operate pneumatic nail guns at approximately 120 psi without wearing impact-resistant eye protection.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  On or about March 28, 2023, employees installed wooden frames in several locations without fall protection at a height greater than 6 feet above the lower level. a. Bldg 1C Southwest corner adjacent to the open balcony roof/canopy. There was an opening area with guardrails that had employees working. b. Bldg 1C South-southwest, an employee was straddling the top of the wood frame in the second section of the framing work.  Crane Creek Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, or it's equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, which was contained in OSHA inspection number #1499135 citation number #1, item number#1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12-16-2020, with respect to a workplace located at 8453/8455 Picardy Ave., BATON ROUGE, LA 70809.  Crane Creek Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, or it's equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, which was contained in OSHA inspection number #1619805 citation number #2, item number#1 and was affirmed as a final order on 03-07-2023, with respect to a workplace located at 609 St. Francs Parkway, The Waters at Heritage, GONZALES, LA 70737.
