29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): (a)K&E Construction LLC at 2115 North Carla Avenue, Tea, SD 57064: On or about and at times prior to September 9, 2022, the exposing employer did not ensure that employees were protected from falls greater than six feet while conducting roofing activities on a multi-family residential property. This condition exposed the employee to fall hazards greater than six feet. K&E Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1548486, citation number 2, item number 1a, and was affirmed as a final order on January 10, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 4404 East Leubecher Place, Sioux Falls, SD 57108. K&E Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1488329, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 17, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 121 East Chapelwood Drive, Brandon, SD 57005.
