Melo Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.501(b)(13)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1534773, citation number 1, item number 1a, and was affirmed as a final order on (January 28, 2022), with respect to a workplace located at 7854 Restmoor Drive, Baldwinsville, NY 13027 .

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) 321 Primrose Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13205: On or about September 15, 2022, employees working on a roof used a portable ladder to access the roof but the side rails of the ladder did not extend 3 feet beyond the access point. Melo Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.1053(b)(1)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1534773, citation number 1, item number 2a and was affirmed as a final order on (January 28, 2022), with respect to a workplace located at 7854 Restmoor Drive, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
