29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. a. On or about October 17, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee using a pneumatic nail gun was not wearing safety glasses, thereby exposing employee to hazards associated with eye injuries. LM Construction 1 Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1595493, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on July 22, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 322 W. 22ns Street, Hinsdale, IL 60521.

On or about October 17, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing residential carpentry operations, ten (10) feet, four (4) inch above the ground, were not protected from falls, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards. The LM Construction 1 Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1595493, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on July 22, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 322 W. 22nd Street, Hinsdale, IL 60521.
