29 CFR  1910.36(g)(2): An exit access must be at least 28 inches (71.1 cm) wide at all points. Where there is only one exit access leading to an exit or exit discharge, the width of the exit and exit discharge must be at least equal to the width of the exit access.   The employer does not ensure that all emergency exits are free and unobstructed.   a) On or about November 7, 2022, the employer did not ensure that all emergency exit doors were free and unobstructed in that the emergency exit door in the stock room was blocked by empty u-boats.  b) On November 8, 2022, the employer did not ensure that all emergency exit doors were free and unobstructed in that the emergency exit door in located by the rugs was blocked by u-boats filled with product and trash cans filled with mops/brooms.   Dollar General Corporation was previously cited under the name Dollar General Corporation dba Dollar General #4967 for a REPEAT violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.36(g)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1500289, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on June 23, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 514 North Antrim Way, Greencastle, PA 17225. The employer does not ensure that ensure employees are protected from potential injuries from fires when the portable fire extinguishers are blocked or not mounted.    a) On or about November 7, 2022, the fire extinguisher by the emergency exit/receiving door in the stock room was blocked by empty u-boats.  b) On or about November 8, 2022, the fire extinguisher by the emergency exit door by the rugs was blocked by u-boat filled with product and trash cans filled with mops/brooms. When normally enclosed live parts are exposed for inspection or servicing, the working space, if in a passageway or general open space, shall be suitably guarded.  The employer did not ensure that all working space around electrical panels is kept clear and is not used for storage.    (a) On or about November 8, 2022, the area located directly in front and to both sides of the electrical panels were used to store rolltainers with merchandise and empty u-boats.
