29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3):Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven (7) feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: a.) Allegheny Wood Works, Inc.; panel saw area - On or about 11/10/22, and at times prior thereto, an unguarded chain and sprocket was located on the SA 3200 panel saw in the area below the saw blade. The chain and sprocket was within 2 feet of the ground. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.213(r)(4):Suitable guard(s) were not provided to reduce to a minimum the hazard due to the point of operation of: a.) Allegheny Wood Works, Inc.; panel saw area - On or about 11/10/22, and at times prior thereto, the SA 3200 panel saw was not guarded adequately and/or so designed and constructed as to prevent the employees from having any fingers in the saw blade area during operation of the saw blade. While in operation/making the cut, the guard did not adequately cover the exposed section of the saw blade. b.) Allegheny Wood Works, Inc.; chop saw area - On or about 11/10/22, and at times prior thereto, the chop saw (unknown make and model) was not guarded adequately and/or so designed and constructed as to prevent the employees from having any fingers in the saw blade area during operation of the saw blade. While in operation/making the cut, the guard did not adequately cover the exposed section of the saw blade.
