Fairhope, AL: On December 9, 2022, and times prior, the employer failed to ensure that his employees involved in framing activities had fall protection in place while performing framing activities exposing employees to a fall hazard of approximately 13'2" to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1):The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. a) On December 9, 2022, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards in that the employer failed to train employees to recognize the hazards associated with falls in construction and when fall protection is needed exposing employees to falls of up to 13'2" to the ground below.
