29 CFR  1910.147(c)(1): The employer did not establish a program consisting of an energy control procedure, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performed any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment shall be isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative:  a) 125 King Court, New Holland, PA - Facility Wide - On or about December 22, 2022, employees were conducting truck trailer fabrication/assembly operations with the use of various metal fabrication machinery (saws, presses, sheers, plasma cutters) without an establish hazardous energy control program and/or employee training and periodic inspections.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR  1910.132(f)(1): The employer did not provide training to each employee who is required by this section to use personal protective equipment:  a) 125 King Court, New Holland, PA - Facility Wide - On or about December 22, 2022, the employees were utilizing personal protective equipment including, but not limited too safety glasses, gloves, etc. Employees did not have training on the personal protective equipment to prevent employee exposure to eye injuries and hand injuries during tasks associated with metal fabrication processes.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
