29 CFR 1926.20(bX2): which reads" The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person(s) 188 Elm St., Pittsfield, MA: On or about January 11, 2023 four subcontractor employees were observed working on a low slope roof engaged in roofing activities on a roof with unprotected sides and edges greater than 11 feet to the next lower and were not protected by either guard rails, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or flagging and monitor systems exposing them to fall from height hazards. Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1).
