29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: 47 Prospect Street, Cheshire, MA: On or about April 30, 2025, and at times prior, an employee and subcontractor employees were observed working on a residential structure engaged in roofing activities with unprotected sides and edges greater than 6 feet above the next lower and were not protected by either guard rails, safety net systems or personal fall arrest system exposing them to a fall from height hazards. J Smegal Contracting, LLC DBA Klaus Roofing Systems by J Smegal was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1672805, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/29/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 163 Maple Grove Drive, Pittsfield, MA.
