J Smegal Contracting, LLC did not ensure that their subcontractors were protected from fall hazards by conducting frequent and regular inspections to identify and correct fall hazards during roofing activities.  J Smegal Contracting, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2) , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1642921, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 04/27/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 188 Elm Street, Pittsfield, MA.
