29 CFR 1926.303(b)(1): Grinding machines were not equipped with safety guards in conformance with the requirements of ANSI B7.1-1970, Safety Code for the Use, Care, and Protection of abrasive wheels, and paragraph (d) of this section. Work table: The grinder used to cut rebar for the elevator form was missing a guard, exposing employees to struck-by hazards. Paramount Builders Inc. was previously cited for a repeat violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.303(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1602722, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 31, 2022 with respect to a workplace located at the Paramount Building 2 Fagaima Pago Pago, American Samoa.
