29 CFR 1910.179(l)(3)(i):Unsafe condition(s) disclosed during the frequent or periodic inspection(s) required by 29 CFR 1910.179(j) were not corrected before operation of the crane(s) was resumed: (a) Facility, Main Bay: On or about January 17, 2023 the company did not repair/replace major mechanical problems with the Trambeam 20 ton overhead crane after an annual inspection inspection of the crane had occurred on July 25, 2022. The items that were not fixed on the 20 ton overhead Trambeam 20 ton crane at the time of the OSHA inspection on January 17, 2023 are as follows: *Bridge guide rollers were heavily worn and need to be replaced (16 per side of the crane). *Guide rollers are heavily worn and need to be replaced. *An oil leak on the trolley drive. *Missing connection box cover on the hoist motor. *Broken wires on wire rope. The wire hoist rope needs replaced. *The outer south side of the lower block sheave is rope drawn and need to be replaced. *The festoon cable needs to be repaired or replaced. *The bridge indicating light is inoperable.
