29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) HVAC shop: On or about February 10, 2023, and at times prior, the employer did not provide suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes within the work area for immediate use. Employees handle and transfer Nu-Brite Coil Cleaner between containers for use cleaning air handling equipment. Eye exposure to Nu-Brite Coil Cleaner may result in severe, permanent eye damage.
