29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt was not worn and/or a lanyard was not attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift. a. On or about March 15, 2023, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee performing steel erection operations from a Genie aerial lift, approximately twenty (20) feet one (1) inch above the ground, was not utilizing a personal fall protection system, thereby exposing the employee to fall hazards. Imperial Construction Associates, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1345448, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on November 14, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at Route 47 and Regency Parkway, Northeast corner, in Huntley, Illinois.
