29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):"Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.   a.) Front of house and roof: On or about March 16, 2023, and at times prior, 2 employees were exposed to fall hazards, in that the employer failed to ensure that employees who were conducting framing activities 6 feet above the lower level were protected by a fall protection system.

29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1):The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles.  a.) On roof:  On or about 3/16/2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck by hazards , in that they are operating a Motabo 3-1/4 coil nail gun at 80 PSI  without eye protection. Safety glasses were not provided to employees while conducting framing activities prior to the beginning of the work day.

29 CFR  1926.503(a)(1):The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards.  a.) 124 Rutland Ct, Lott 177, Senoia Ga. 30276: On or about March 16, 2023, and at times prior, on April 11, 2023; the employer allowed his employees to perform framing activities without first ensuring his employees were trained on the hazards associated with falls to include but not limited to setting up and inspecting fall protection exposing his employee to a fall hazard of above 6 feet to the ground below.
