29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  a) Lot# 179 Austin Meadows, Manlius, NY: On or about 3/27/2023, the employer did not ensure that employees were connected to anchor points while installing roofing materials on a 8:12 pitch roof, exposing employees to a fall distance of approximately 9-10 feet.  PVC Exteriors was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1396006, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/21/2020, with respect to a workplace located at Hollyshire Way, Lot #25, Clay, NY 13041.  PVC Exteriors was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1386793, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 8/21/2020, with respect to a workplace located at Lock Street, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.  PVC Exteriors was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1327846, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/20/2018, with respect to a workplace located at Lavender Lane, Cicero, NY 13039.
