29 CFR  1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toe boards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  (a) On or about April 14, 2023, employees conducting roofing work on northeast sections of new apartment building roof with a 6:12 pitch, were not using fall protection while installing roof barrier underlayment. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 28 feet to the ground below.   Leo's Builders, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1) , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1317751, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 21, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at Grandview Town homes 1828 Elizabeth Circle in Sycamore, IL 60178.
