29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i):The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood by employees: a) Rindler Poultry LLC. on or about April 10, 2023, at the address of 5424 Watkins Road, Saint Henry, OH; The employer did not to ensure that employees who are tasked with unjamming activities on the Optipacker on packer 1-22 were adequately trained on the purpose and elements of the safe application and use relating to the isolation and control of hazardous energy sources. Employees tasked with unjamming activities at or near the point of operation (nip-points) on the aforementioned machine, were not specifically trained to lockout the machine to protect against amputation/fracture injuries.
