29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and into which employees could fall, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: a. In front of the PFE Hut: The rebar that protruded from the perimeter of the rebar grid was not guarded. Employees were exposed to impalement hazards. b. Westside of PFE Hut. Horizontal rebar that was protruding from the building was not guarded. Employees were exposed to impalement hazards.
