A measurement of approximately 24 inches was taken within the exit access approximately six feet from the exit door

29 CFR 1910.37(a)(4): Safeguard(s) designed to protect employees during an emergency (e.g., sprinkler systems, alarm systems, fire doors, exit lighting), were not in proper working order at all times. Location: Northeast side of building. Warehouse area. On or about June 8, 2023 the employer did not ensure that a fire door was in proper working order at all times. The door failed to open as the latches would not retract into the panic bar housing when the panic bar was depressed.
