29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: The employer was failing to protect employees from struck-by and chemical hazards during servicing and maintenance activities. This was most recently documented on or about June 13, 2023 at 10802 Sapp Brothers Drive, Omaha, Nebraska. Instances of exposure included but were not limited to: i. The employer failed to develop specific energy control procedure for Fusion CNC Saw, of which the energy sources include but are not limited to electrical, air, water and hydraulic. ii. The employer failed to develop specific energy control procedure for Titan CNC Stone Center, of which the energy sources include but are not limited to electrical and water. iii. The employer failed to develop specific energy control procedure for Fastback II Flat Edge Polisher, of which the energy sources include but are not limited to electrical and water.
