OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that, employees were exposed to caught between and amputation hazards due to unsafe operation of the jointer:  a.)	Bradford Forest, Inc.; dimension building: On or about  June 23, 2023 and times prior thereto:    An employee was operating a Powermatic (model #50; serial #450286) jointer while wearing gloves, not using the push tools, and without adequate knowledge to operate the jointer.    The employee sustained a fingertip amputation.   ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
