29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Each authorized employee had not received training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control: a. On or about June 28, 2023, at the fabrication shop, the employer had not trained the maintenance technician to recognize hazardous energy sources and the methods for energy isolation and control as an authorized Lockout/Tagout employee to perform service and repair work for the Peddinghaus shear, FICEP MDX-803 driller and GEKA Hydracrop punch press, among other machinery with potential to release hazardous stored energy.
